Our Oak Park clients occupy their old house on the site and required Plans & Permits for a two house side by side (Dual occupancy) development. Once again we accepted the challenge and have designed a super modern development on this very steep site. Extremely heavy Council resistance confronted us in a refusal of the first planning submission requiring us to offer an alternate design. It, once again came under extreme Council scrutiny and after some expert solutions from our Architect and Planning Team, we secured a Planning Permit in early 2020. The design has once again broken the mould within its area and has set an impressive contemporary precedent.
